Izumi Hamada was born in KOBE,living in KYOTO,JAPAN.She was an in-house designer of the Public facilities interior company, and established pd DESIGN STUDIO in 2000.She has been mainly active in product design and announced the original products for domestic and foreign exhibitions including U.K. and Italy from 2004.

She starts apparel brand emma in 2012.she suggests the original authentic design which adopted approach of the product design and selection of items.
